How to play:

Items will come down the item queue on the right panel of the game screen. The current item is in the standalone box under the item queue. This is the item that you are allowed to place on the game grid.

The goal is to score as many points as possible before you get gridlocked. To score points, you need to plant carrots and tomatoes and harvest them with the shovel item. Harvesting a plant will also harvest all connected like-plants, e.g. All carrots that can be traced back to the harvested carrot in orthogonal lines will be harvested as well. This allows you to "chain" like plants together to score more points. Each time your harvest chain length grows, the amount of points earned per plant is increased by 1.

There are a few obstacles to overcome along the way.

Weeds are plants that yield no points when harvested, and also spread by one tile. When a weed spreads, only the new weed will be able to propagate. Weeds cannot spread to occupied tiles, so you can use other items to limit the area that a weed can spread. Weeds are the most dangerous obstacle as they can quickly choke your garden and limit your available moves. Like other plants, weeds can be chain harvested.

Rocks are similar to weeds in that they cannot be harvested for points. However, they do not spread like weeds do. You can break a rock by using a shovel on it.
